Three Headed Mule Productions
Mark Bennett, Darryl Purvis, and Producer Pete formed Three Headed Mule Productions in 2014. Under this banner, they produce comedy in various forms. They are currently recording a podcast called Am I Write?
Mark originates from St. John’s, Newfoundland, a wonderful place in Canada filled with kind people and an ungodly home-made alcohol called Screech. But now he calls Toronto, Ontario home. He’s been performing stand-up comedy since 2004. He moved to Los Angeles in 2007 to explore film production. There, he graduated from the Hollywood Film Institute and wrote, directed, and produced his first feature movie. Mark has performed at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal, and has been featured on Star TV, the Comedy Network, CBC, and the Los Angeles International Comedy Festival. Mark is married to West African Sara.
Darryl was born and raised and drank a lot in Nova Scotia. He has been performing stand-up comedy since 1998. He’s performed in comedy clubs across Canada and the United States. He has appeared on CTV, CBC, The Comedy Network and Much More Music, including being featured in his own “Comedy Now!” episode on CTV/The Comedy Network. He’s also been featured on the Cream of Comedy on The Comedy Network, and the Halifax Comedy Festival on CBC-TV. Darryl wishes he was married to West African Sara.
Producer Pete is an IP and entertainment lawyer. He lives in a cloud of mystery and works at an office of obscurity. There’s Starbucks on the main floor.
West African Sara (with Olive)
West African Sara (or “WAS” for short) is Mark’s beleaguered wife. As Mark tells it, she was plucked from a life of toil and adversity in West Africa and she became a lawyer. As she tells it, she needed the green card. Olive is a cat.
